This particular spot is stop 17 on the “Dziewicza Góra” Forest Educational Trail. It has been named of a Polish land owner, activist and philosopher – August Cieszkowski, coat of arms Dołęga, a past head of the Friends of Sciences Association and the founder of Academy of Agriculture in Żabików, from which originated the Agriculture Division of Poznań University and then the Academy of Agriculture in Poznań.


The forest classroom is a place prepared specifically for outdoor lessons, among aged hardwood trees surrounding the Annowo forester’s house. The classroom is equipped with tables and benches for about 35-40 people and 10 boards illustrating some types of plants and animals native to the area and chosen issues connected to ecology.
