Cycling trails were created in Zielonka forest to allow tourists an attractive, refreshing and stimulating form of relaxation – travelling “on two wheels”. A common asset of all the cycling trails is that they weave through picturesque routes, mostly by dirt roads. There are also short parts of cobbled road, very interesting but much less popular with the cyclists – especially if it lacks a dirt shoulder. Some segments of the trail lead through asphalt roads.

Most of the roads used by the trails have no or very little car traffic, making them safe for cycling.

The basic setup of the cycling trails is composed of two rings:

Large Cycling Ring (DPR)

The trail starts in Czerwonak. Then it goes through Dąbrówka Kościelna, Niedźwiedziny, Sławica, Brzeźno, Pacholewo and Uchorowo. In Starczanowo it connects to the Small Cycling Ring. The total length is 51,7 km. Trail marking: black bike on blue field.

Small Cycling Ring (MPR)

It starts and ends in Murowana Goślina. It leads, among other places, through Kamińsko, Zielonka, Głęboczek, Wojnowo, Długa Goślina, Kąty. In Starczanowo it connects to the Large Cycling Ring. Total length in 35,4 km. Trail marking: black bike on a red field.

The cycling rings are complemented by twelve connecting (radial) trails marked R1 to R12, which allow through exploration of Zielonka forest. (link to particular trails http://www.puszcza-zielonka.pl/turystyka/szlaki-rowerowe.html)
